We speak English naturally.

Natural, confident English across the whole timetable. 3× 90 minutes a week + CLIL: English is learned between subjects, not just in one lesson.

Philosophy

Not a subject. It's life.

Children hear and use English in the morning circle, at lunch, in projects and among themselves. It's not confined to a class period; it's part of the school's culture.

  • Play → conversation → reading

We start with play and listening. Vocabulary and sentences grow step by step.

  • CLIL across subjects

English in maths, science, social studies and art.

  • No rote learning

It isn't about memorising sentences, it's about understanding and using English in real situations.

Teaching model

How we teach English at FLOW

Timetable + integration

Weekly rhythm of English

  • 3× 90 minutes a week of dedicated lessons
  • CLIL: English woven into maths, science and art
  • Storytelling, projects and play instead of drilling
  • Real-world use in everyday school communication
3 skill levels

Groups by level, not by age

  • Beginner for children just starting with the language
  • Intermediate for more advanced learners
  • Advanced for children who are fluent
  • Groups are organised by level, not by age
A core element

English teachers who get children talking.

English is led by experienced English teachers. Children hear English every day and use it naturally from day one.

What parents will see

Observable results at home

Not hypothetical "knows some words". Concrete changes in your child's behaviour you'll notice within weeks.

01

Singing an English song on the way home

Your child hears English music out in the world and starts humming or singing along, without any prompting.

02

Not afraid of mistakes

Tries to use English in conversation, grammar errors and all. Fear of mistakes = fear of the language.

03

Opens an English book without panic

Picks up a book or comic and starts reading, even when they don't understand every word.

04

Says: "English is fun"

And really means it: not as a chore, but as something worth doing.

We measure progress against Cambridge standards

Cambridge English serves as our reference framework for levels and checkpoints. Older pupils prepare for higher Cambridge exams, and we help them reach the highest possible level by the end of grade 9.
